Vibrant Passion

Yesterday Rachel Pearl released her new self titled album on iTunes and Spotify. For fans that are familiar with Rachel’s previous projects this album is a bit of a deviation from her more traditional Nashville sounds. With the current trend in music leaning toward electronic and dance music Pearls experiment into Pop ballads is a well timed bit of progressive genre blending.

The strength of this album is that unlike most artists that create pop music Rachel Pearl is a first and foremost a songwriter. All of her verses have depth and breath to them, they live and paint pictures for the listeners. You can’t help but feel the emotion that is encapsulated between the music and Pearl’s voice.

Even in the midst of her grand experiment Rachel takes time to show that without a doubt she is a true artist, just in case anyone tries to dismiss her because she is doing pop music when they hear “Without You” is will be undeniable that there is an unquenchable amount of talent wrapped up in Rachel’s soul and it has the ability to transcend space, time and music genre.
