Eddy Hollandale is the name of a music project created by Christopher Ellis. The birth of Eddy Hollandale was fueled by Christopher’s personal experiences and love of music in all forms. Ellis is responsible for the principle songwriting, sound production, as well as playing all of the instruments heard on the studio recordings of the band’s songs.
For Christopher, music is a way to voice yourself when no other voice can be heard. When Ellis was writing his first song, it was a away to deal with frustrations that had no other outlet. Christopher has always wanted to produce, so he started creating music to see what he could come up with. Eddy Hollandale was born from these early sessions.
Currently Ellis is working on writing new material, playing shows, and recruiting band members. Soon he will have his first show with a full band featuring songs that, so far, have only been done in studio. The show is to be on May 20th at the Prophet Bar.
