Mr. Grey

Dylan Grey is a 17 year old singer songwriter living in Arlington, Texas. Originally born in San Francisco Grey was started on his musical path early in life. On a family trip to Germany an acquaintance told Dylan’s parents that he had a musicians ears, putting those ears to use Dylan has perfected his craft and now is feeling out the Texas musical scene. Auditory Asylum caught his debut performance at Mochalux Coffee Saturday night. Grey performed with fellow artist Eddy Hollandale, these two make a fantastic duo with Hollandale’s bluesy style blending with Grays more Sinatraesque vocals. Dylan’s stage presence takes in the audience, this combined with his fantastic voice creates a perfect musical storm. In the song “Can’t Stay Away” one can hear definite John Mayer/ Jason Mraz influences, it is going to be quite interesting to watch this rising young artist.
